Anna Templeton Centre for Craft, Art and Design - Located in St. John's, the Anna Templeton Centre offers a variety of craft and art classes for adults in evening and weekend workshops. Most classes are recreational in nature, but can offer aspiring craftspeople exposure to different mediums and techniques. To learn more visit their website.

College of the North Atlantic - Textiles: Craft and Apparel Design Program - This two year program is offered in St. John's and is located at the Anna Templeton Centre. For details see the program description on the College's website.

Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland - Visual Art Program - Located in Corner Brook, this degree program focuses on a variety of visual art forms, including painting, sculpture, printmaking and photography. For more information visit their website.

Marketing Venues

Craft and Gift Wholesale Show - Organized by the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador this wholesale show features craftspeople and gift producers from Newfoundland and Labrador. It provides the opportunity for craft and gift shops from around the province to place orders for their shops for high quality local products. Please note this is a business-to-business show and is not open to the general public.

CRAFT East Buyers' Expo (formerly the Atlantic Craft Trade Show) - This wholesale show is held every February in Halifax, NS, and features craftspeople and gift producers from across Atlantic Canada. It attracts gift and craft shop buyers from the Atlantic region as well as some from other parts of Canada and the US.
